An Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array Survey of Chemistry in Disks around M4–M5 Stars

چکیده
M-stars are the most common hosts of planetary systems in Galaxy. Protoplanetary disks around thus offer a prime opportunity to study chemistry planet-forming environments. We present an ALMA survey molecular line emission toward sample five protoplanetary M4-M5 stars (FP Tau, J0432+1827, J1100-7619, J1545-3417, and Sz 69). These observations can resolve chemical structures down tens AU. Molecular lines $^{12}$CO, $^{13}$CO, C$^{18}$O, C$_2$H, HCN detected all disks. Lines H$_2$CO DCN 2/5 1/5 disks, respectively. For with resolved HCN, emission, we observe substructures similar those previously found solar-type (e.g., rings, holes, plateaus). C$_2$H excitation conditions estimated interior pebble disk edge for bright J1100-7619 consistent previous measurements stars. The correlation between fluxes extends our sample, but typical C$_2$H/HCN ratio is higher sample. This latter finding reminiscent hydrocarbon enhancements by observational infrared surveys innermost ($<$10AU) regions M-star which intriguing since disk-averaged heavily influenced flux levels outermost disk, exterior edge. Overall, observable at 10-100AU appears hydrocarbons may be more abundant cooler

Large dust particles in disks around T Tauri stars
We present 7-mm continuum observations of 14 low-mass pre-main-sequence stars in the Taurus-Auriga star-forming region obtained with the Very Large Array with ∼1. ′′5 resolution and ∼0.3 mJy rms sensitivity. For 10 objects, the circumstellar emission has been spatially resolved. The large outer disk radii derived suggest that the emission at this wavelength is mostly optically thin. The millime...
متن کاملHyperaccretion Disks around Neutron Stars
It is usually proposed that hyperaccretion disks surrounding stellar-mass black holes at an accretion rate of a fraction of one solar mass per second, which are produced during the mergers of double compact stars or the collapses of massive stars, are central engines of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). In some origin/afterglow models, however, newborn compact objects are invoked to be neutron stars rat...
متن کاملCircumstellar Disks Around Binary Stars In Taurus
We have conducted a survey of 17 wide (> 100 AU) young binary systems in Taurus with the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) at two wavelengths. The observations were designed to measure the masses of circumstellar disks in these systems as an aid to understanding the role of multiplicity in star and planet formation. The ALMA observations had sufficient resolution to localize emission within...
متن کاملModels of Accretion Disks around Young Stars
We discuss the importance of accretion in calculating disk models for young stellar objects. In particular, we show that a disk inner rim, irradiated by both the star and the accretion shocks at the stellar surface, can naturally explain recent observations of DG Tau with the Keck interferometer. We present models for two objects, with mass accretion rates differing by almost two orders of magn...
متن کاملDiagnostics of Disks Around Hot Stars
We discuss three different observational diagnostics related to disks around hot stars: absorption line determinations of rotational velocities of Be stars; polarization diagnostics of circumstellar disks; and X-ray line diagnostics of one specific magnetized hot star, θ Ori C. Some common themes that emerge from these studies include (a) the benefits of having a specific physical model as a fr...
